the details.

The Manor House holds special significance for us. it is where we got engaged in August 2024, so Celebrating our wedding here felt like the most natural choice. We are overjoyed to return with our closest friends and family and create precious new memories that we will cherish forever.

  • Friday: Garden Party Cocktail

In case helpful, please refer to some images here for inspiration and guidance on the dress code for Friday’s festivities. We are hoping for our guests to embrace whimsical, light palettes and styles for the outdoor barbecue and cultural ceremony. Ties are optional and dress lengths are up to preference.

    Saturday: Black Tie

In case helpful, please refer to the images here for inspiration and guidance for the dress code for Saturday’s ceremony and reception. We kindly request dark suits or tuxedos and bow ties for men, and floor-length dresses for women. Ladies, please feel free to embrace summery palettes and bold silhouettes.

  • We have booked the manor house for our exclusive use throughout our wedding weekend. We are so grateful to those traveling near and far to join us in the Cotswolds, so we have covered a portion of the room rates. All rooms at the manor house have been booked, but there are several other hotels and inns located close to the property.

For any booking related questions, please reach out to Cassie Stewart (Cassie.Stewart@exclusive.co.uk).

  • For those traveling internationally: the United Kingdom now requires an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA). The application, which can be accessed here, may require up to three working days to process. It may be faster, but please plan to request the ETA sufficiently in advance of your travel date. It costs around £10 ($12.75), and lasts for two years from the date of approval.

  • We strongly recommend renting a car or utilizing a taxi service for transportation. Uber and other car hailing apps are less reliable in the Castle Combe area.

Should you prefer public transportation options from London, we recommend arriving by train into Bath or Chippenham station. The Manor House is a short 15 - 20 minute taxi from there. We strongly encourage you to prebook a taxi as there can limited drivers available. If you are unable to dial internationally, the hotel can assist with taxi arrangements (Cassie Stewart (Cassie.Stewart@exclusive.co.uk).

Explore the historic city of Bath (~15 minute drive from the manor house), known for its ancient Roman baths and Georgian architecture. It is one of our favorite day trip destinations from london.

    Golf:

The Manor House Golf Club offers a challenging and scenic 18-hole, par-72 course that spans over 6,500 yards. Designed by Peter Alliss and Clive Clark, the course offers a dynamic and engaging experience for golfers of all skill levels.

    Lacock Village & Abbey:

Lacock (~20 minute drive from the manor house) is a National Trust village that seems frozen in time, and for that reason, is frequently used as a filming location (Harry Potter, Downton Abbey, and Pride & Prejudice, to name a few).
